Invention Machine Introduces Goldfire Innovator

Invention Machine Corp. (http://www.invention-machine.com) introduced its new product, Goldfire Innovator, which integrates within a single desktop platform comprehensive functions and content that aid the innovation process. The product spans idea generation and new product development, the renovation of existing products, and the improvement of production processes. Early users of the software report that Goldfire Innovator reduces innovation costs and speeds time-to-market.

Goldfire Innovator addresses the front end of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), which experts say consumes 70 to 80 percent of a product's development costs. The software provides problem-analysis tools and methodologies that guide users to solutions, and semantic knowledge retrieval for access to relevant content.

Goldfire Innovator comes integrated with both public and proprietary content, including:

  • Invention Machine's proprietary database of scientific effects/phenomena—over 9,000 effects and animated examples of their use across different industries
  • 2,000 "deep Web" scientific Web sites—Invention Machine has indexed these sites (inaccessible by traditional search engines) to make them accessible by Goldfire Innovator users
  • Access to worldwide patent content across the following patent database (which includes patent bibliography, full text, and clipped images):
         US: 1971 - current date
         EPA: 1978 - current date
         EPB: 1980 - current date
         WIPO: 1978 - current date
         JP: 1976 - current date
