Innovative Announces New and Updated Polaris Services
Innovative’s Polaris Leap and Polaris ILS 5.0 are now available for beta testing, with an official launch scheduled for October. Baltimore County Public Library (BCPL) in Maryland and the Central Library Consortium (CLC) in Ohio will serve as beta testers and provide feedback. They will be joined by additional libraries in 2 to 3 weeks.Polaris Leap, the new web client for the Polaris ILS, performs public services workflows, including new patron registration and item checkout. Additionally, it features responsive design. Polaris ILS 5.0 has new functionality such as Family Holds Pickup, a Carousel Toolkit, and the option to automatically renew items and close purchase orders. Source: Innovative
