Inmagic Releases DB/TextWorks 5.2
Inmagic, Inc. (http://www.inmagic.com), a developer of knowledge management and special library management software, has announced the release of DB/TextWorks version 5.2, which includes the DB/Text WebPublisher and WebPublisher Lite Web publishing components. Version 5.2 now features record-level security, support for XML, and other enhancements.DB/TextWorks 5.2 lets Inmagic databases import XML file formats in addition to those that are ASCII-delimited and Inmagic-tagged. XML is an emerging standard for sharing data between applications. Because XML files support information tagging similar to HTML files, information can be manipulated in very flexible ways.
