ITHAKA Takes on Artstor

Artstor will now function under the umbrella of ITHAKA, which operates JSTOR, Portico, and Ithaka S+R. The organization has previously worked with JSTOR to build and preserve shared academic resources, and they will now be in a better position to collaborate on new tools and combine their capabilities.

ITHAKA assumes management and financial responsibility for Artstor, although it will retain its 501(c)(3) status as well as its existing products and services.

For more information, read the press release.
