ISYS Releases New Document Filters 2010
ISYS Search Software announced the release of ISYS Document Filters 2010, the new version of the company’s solution for text extraction, printing, and high-definition viewing. Document Filters go deeper than the application layer that connectors support, and actually pull through the text and metadata that drive analytics.ISYS Document Filters provide OEMs, ISVs, and enterprises with a key component for driving text analytics, e-discovery, email archiving, data loss prevention and other content processing systems. With the release of ISYS Document Filters 2010, ISYS is the only company actively innovating and investing in an end-to-end filter solution. Several industry leaders and emerging companies have recently selected ISYS Document Filters for their applications, including Sybase, TCDI, and Janya. These partners join a long list of OEM search customers that include EMC, HP, Autodesk, Reveal, Data Global, and Bridgeline Digital. These companies have selected ISYS, in part, for its ability to go deeper than the base connector level, and extract and render file contents for deep inspection, analysis, and surveillance of information. The addition of printing and high-definition viewing was developed completely by the ISYS R&D team. The company says these new capabilities are the most significant pieces of IP it has developed since the original release of ISYS Document Filters in March 2009 (formerly known as ISYS File Readers).
