ISI, Swets Blackwell Announce Linking Agreement
ISI and Swets Blackwell have announced a linking agreement that will provide users with extended access to research and development literature. The full-text content in Swets Blackwell's SwetsnetNavigator e-journal service will increase ISI's full-text links to scholarly journals. Users will be able to seamlessly link from the ISI Web of Science and ISI Current Contents Connect components of the ISI Web of Knowledge to the full text of journal articles available in SwetsnetNavigator."We are extremely pleased that with this agreement we can give our customers something they've been eagerly awaiting," said Yvonne Campfens, director of publisher relations and marketing at Swets Blackwell. "Linking between two such market leaders as Swets Blackwell and ISI is further evidence that SwetsnetNavigator's ‘open' system is precisely that." "Linking to the e-journal collection in SwetsnetNavigator will further enrich the depth of content available through ISI Web of Knowledge," said Phil Heller, senior director of linkage business development at ISI. "The agreement demonstrates the ISI vision to provide our subscribers with a tightly integrated online universe of comprehensive research information and tools to accelerate discovery." SwetsnetNavigator offers a single point of access to full-text titles, tables of contents, and abstracts.
