ISI ResearchSoft Upgrades Reference Web Poster

ISI ResearchSoft ( has announced that it is now shipping Reference Web Poster 1.2, an upgrade of its collaborative tool for sharing bibliographic references with colleagues on the Internet. Reference Web Poster lets users post databases from EndNote, ProCite, and Reference Manager on the Web. Colleagues with a Web browser can search these databases and import references directly into them, resulting in fast and easy collaboration among researchers.

"Since we introduced Reference Web Poster, we have seen it used in innovative ways—from experts posting information on the latest medical breakthroughs to professors posting a reading list," said David Kochalko, president of ISI ResearchSoft. "Reference Web Poster is ideal for sharing any type of reference collection over the Internet."

ISI ResearchSoft publishes Reference Web Poster and its counterparts, EndNote, ProCite, and Reference Manager. These tools search remote databases and library catalogs on the Internet, import references into and organize a personal library of citations, and produce papers written in word processors with correctly formatted in-text citations and bibliographies. ISI ResearchSoft is a division of ISI.
