HID Global Reaches Settlements in Patent Lawsuits
HID Global, a provider of secure identity solutions, settled its patent-infringement lawsuits against Apollo Security, Applied Wireless IDentifications Group, Inc. (AWID), and Secura Key.The patents in the lawsuit included Programmable Channel Search Reader and Antenna Array for an RFID Reader Compatible With Transponders Operating at Different Carrier Frequencies. These patents are part of HID Global’s extended licensing program for RFID (radio frequency identification) reader manufacturers to license certain HID Global multitechnology intellectual property.
