Google News Promotes Fact-Checking

Google News added a fact-check tag to identify fact-checking in large news stories (starting with U.S. and U.K. results). Tagged articles appear in the expanded story box on news.google.com and in Google News & Weather apps for iOS and Android devices. Publishers that want their fact-checks to appear with search results should use the schema.org ClaimReview markup in their fact-check articles.

For more information, read the blog post.
