Google Launches Blog Search Service
Google has launched a beta of a new Blog Search service; it's available at http://google.com/blogsearch and http://search.blogger.com. Users can search for blog posts, blog names, authors, or a specific date range. Google Blog Search also features Google's SafeSearch technology, giving users control over the content of their search results. Google said it searches all feeds, independent of the blogging platform or hosting provider, and does not give precedence in results to feeds from its own service, Blogger.Blog Search also syndicates search results as an RSS or Atom feed. Users can subscribe to their search results and view them in their favorite newsreader, thereby automatically receiving the latest results for their query. Google Blog Search is currently available in English as well as Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Korean, Russian, and Spanish, with additional language support to follow. An FAQ is available at http://www.google.com/help/about_blogsearch.html. Source: Google
