GlobalSpec Launches New Platform for Engineering and Industrial Communities
GlobalSpec, Inc. My GlobalSpec gives industrial professionals a single place to access, manage, and save all of their vital work-related information from GlobalSpec.com. This expanded suite of tools includes the following: - My Suppliers-Gives professionals the ability to create a list of suppliers for reference and sharing, including email address, phone number, and website; users can choose to add individual companies from their personal list of suppliers or make additions using GlobalSpec's directory of more than 148,000 companies, all complete with contact information.
- My Parts-Offers the ability for professionals to save products found on GlobalSpec or entered from their own sources for their project needs, including a list of parts used in designs and detailed catalog specs for parts saved from GlobalSpec; users can also access GlobalSpec to contact suppliers for additional application and pricing information.
- My Projects-Allows users to plan, manage, and track product discovery and vendor sourcing for their projects.
My GlobalSpec also offers industrial professionals the ability to customize their GlobalSpec homepages with news and information that is important to them. Users can choose to display information from a number of categories, including recent GlobalSpec product searches, top engineering news tailored to a variety of different industry interests, and relevant discussions on CR4, GlobalSpec's online peer-to-peer community for industrial professionals.
