Gale Offers Libraries Interactive Science Products for Students
Gale launched three new science products for academic and school libraries that are designed to help students understand science beyond simply reading their textbooks. They combine Gale’s curriculum-aligned reference content with Cyber Science 3D’s interactive 3D models, which each allow users to zoom, rotate, and explore individual components. Two of the products are geared to the academic market, and they cover human anatomy and chemistry. The third—covering multiple science topics—can be used in introductory college science courses as a refresher or in high schools as a basic learning tool. The 3D models require tools such as an interactive whiteboard or a 3D projector. The products are also available as web-based 2D experiences. For more information, read the press release.
