GODAN and the Open Data Institute Promote Agricultural Open Data

The GODAN (Global Open Data in Agriculture and Nutrition) initiative and the Open Data Institute released the “How Can We Improve Agriculture, Food and Nutrition With Open Data?” report, which shows how open data can enable more effective decision making in various contexts, foster innovation, and promote transparency.

GODAN’s goal is to promote a better understanding of how open data can help improve food security and offer better nutrition worldwide by delivering sustainably produced food, reducing waste, and controlling pests and diseases.
