Fourth World eBook Fair—Free Access for a Month
The World eBook Fair (WeBF) is taking place from July 4 to Aug. 4. This is the fourth year of the annual fair. It provides more than 2.5 million full-text ebooks that you can download to your computer (http://worldebookfair.org/collections.htm). Some titles can also be downloaded and read on certain mobile phones. WeBF is sponsored by Project Gutenberg (http://gutenberg.org), the World Public Library (www.worldpubliclibrary.org), the Internet Archive (www.archive.org), Ask.com, and eBooks About Everything (http://ebooksabouteverything.com). During the rest of 2009, you may continue to download from a selection of about 500,000 PDF ebooks by joining the World Public Library. Annual membership is only $8.95. Source: World eBook Fair
