FluentMedia Beefs Up Content Sources

FluentMedia (http://www.fluentmediainfo.com), a content-licensing agency of Tribune Co., has added content licensed from Primedia Business Magazines & Media and from Thomson Media. Primedia Business publishes more than 60 trade journals and Primedia Insight is a news wire that aggregates breaking news published on the Web sites of Primedia Business magazines. FluentMedia will offer 36 Thomson Media publications, including American Banker and The Bond Buyer.

FluentMedia has also expanded the scope of its international sources by adding BBC Monitoring to its list of media partners. BBC Monitoring will supply FluentMedia with a daily feed of news, information, and commentary gathered from mass media around the world—more than 800 articles daily.

FluentMedia is an electronic information service for the corporate market. The content-licensing venture uses advanced filtering technology to provide customized packages of news, commentary, and analysis to corporate clients for use on their intranets, extranets, and public marketing sites. Content sources include The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Associated Press, and many others.
