Fastcase Acquires Wolters Kluwer's LoislawConnect

Fastcase acquired LoislawConnect (one of its competitors in the legal research market) from Wolters Kluwer Law & Business, the Law Sites blog reports. Wolters Kluwer will sunset Loislaw on Nov. 30 and hand over the product’s brand and domain name, along with its subscribers. However, Loislaw subscribers will retain access to Wolters Kluwer’s library of 125 treatises on topics such as bankruptcy, business, employment, and intellectual property.

The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
