Factiva’s North American Customers to Access Full NY Times Archive
Factiva, a Dow Jones & Reuters Company, announced an agreement with The New York Times Company to make the full-text archive of The New York Times (dating back to June 1, 1980) available to all Factiva customers in North America beginning Jan. 1, 2005. Previously, the full archive beyond 90 days was only available to customers outside of North America. Factiva says it is now "the only global news and business information provider to offer customers complete access to the full-text of all top ten daily newspapers in the U.S."During 2004, Factiva also expanded long-term agreements with the Tribune Company (publisher of the Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, New York's Newsday, and the Spanish-language Hoy) and The Washington Post. In addition, USA TODAY is also now available to customers at the start of the U.S. business day. Factiva is also the only online business service that offers complete access to the Dow Jones and Reuters newswires and The Wall Street Journal. Source: Factiva
