Factiva Launches E-Learning Program

Factiva (http://www.factiva.com), a Dow Jones & Reuters Co., has announced the launch of Factiva Learning Programs, a versatile enterprise training program for Factiva products and services. The suite of programs includes e-training, online tutorials and product demos, regular Web-based seminars, targeted reference materials, and classroom training for corporate knowledge workers. The program includes self-directed interactive training, eTrainer and online product help, and instructor-led Web conference training seminars. Factiva Learning Programs also serve decentralized organizations with targeted and relevant documentation materials to supplement the eTrainer initiatives.

"Factiva's growing global customer base not only speaks many languages, but learns differently and demands different types of training—from basic to advanced, to in-depth training components," said Anne Caputo, director of Factiva Learning Programs. "With the launch of Factiva Learning Programs, we will now be able to offer our customers product-specific, just-in-time training, customized to meet their precise needs."

According to a company representative, Factiva Learning Programs represents the next step in providing training that is sophisticated and customized, and accommodates users throughout an enterprise. It offers a broader range of training, covering not only how to search but how to use content.
