Factiva Introduces Developer’s Kit 3.0
Factiva, a Dow Jones & Reuters Company (http://www.factiva.com), has released Factiva Developer's Kit 3.0, an application programming interface (API) that provides integration enhancements for the recently launched Factiva SalesWorks and Factiva Companies & Executives. The new Developer's Kit allows the content and functionality available in Factiva SalesWorks and Factiva Companies & Executives to be integrated easily into enterprise applications, such as sales force automation tools, customer relationship management systems (CRMs), third-party or in-house portals, intranets, and Microsoft Office 2003.Factiva Developer's Kit provides developers with application-agnostic, platform-independent, XML-based programmatic access to the majority of functionality and content available on the Factiva platform. It allows companies to develop customized applications with extensive personalization that integrates Factiva's content and functionality into their business applications and end users' work flow. The company said that the new integration capabilities of Factiva's sales productivity solutions are designed to help companies drive adoption of their enterprise applications and equip the users of those applications with timely information and news about companies, industries, and executives.
