Elsevier Supports Researchers With Online Training Campus; Updates Article-Sharing Policies

Elsevier launched Elsevier Publishing Campus, a free online platform that offers training resources to academic researchers. It features lectures, interactive training, and professional advice on topics such as gender in research, open science, how to write articles and grant applications, and peer review and ethics.

The campus is composed of a series of themed “colleges”: College of Skills Training, College of Big Ideas, College of Networking, College of Research Solutions, College of Career Planning, and College of Recommended Organizations.

In other news, Elsevier updated its sharing and hosting policies for articles to make it easier for researchers to share “confidently and easily” on platforms while getting appropriate credit. The policies also aim to ensure that readers can access the best available version of content that is authoritative and complete.

For more information, read the press release.
