Elsevier EI Upgrades ChemVillage
Elsevier Engineering Information (http://www.ei.org) has announced the latest release of ChemVillage (http://www.chemvillage.org), which involved significant upgrades to the platform's underlying technology. The FAST search engine has been implemented; functional enhancements include multiple database searching with user controlled deduplication, personalized searches, and extensive full-text linking options. Unlimited e-mail alerting offers all users the ability to receive weekly updates on record additions in their areas of interest. EI says that all upgrades enhance researcher-driven discovery with tools designed to simplify chemistry research.Elsevier Engineering Information publishes six bibliographic databases, including Compendex, Chimica, Chemical Business NewsBase, and PaperChem, and, in addition to ChemVillage, provides the online discovery platform Engineering Village 2 (http://www.engineeringvillage2.org).
