Elsevier Adds Metrics to Scopus
Elsevier introduced CiteScore metrics to the Scopus abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature, giving researchers access to a holistic overview of more than 22,000 journals from 5,000-plus publishers to help them decide which journals to publish in and which ones to subscribe to. These metrics can also be useful for librarians managing their collections and editors developing journals. Many of the metrics are updated monthly and are freely available for all regularly published literature in Scopus.For more information, read the press release.
