EBSCOhost Offers Internet & Personal Computing Abstracts
EBSCO Publishing (http://www.ebsco.com) announced the availability of Internet & Personal Computing Abstracts (IPCA) via the EBSCOhost interface. The release of IPCA rounds out a new suite of complementary databases available via EBSCOhost entitled the EBSCO Technical Package. This collection comprises five databases: Inspec, IPCA, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (ISTA), Computer Science Index (CSI), as well as a complementary full-text component. EBSCO claims that this collection of databases provides a comprehensive compilation of abstracts and indexing for the top journals in various fields of electronic information management and computer science. EBSCO acquired the IPCA and ISTA files in July 2003 from Information Today, Inc. (http://newsbreaks.infotoday.com/nbreader.asp?ArticleID=16661).Internet & Personal Computing Abstracts (formerly Microcomputer Abstracts) provides abstracts and indexing for literature related to personal computing products and developments in business, the Internet, the home, and all other applied areas.
