EBSCO Unveils NoveList Select Recommendation Service
EBSCO Publishing introduced NoveList Select, which helps patrons avoid dead-end searches that result when the books they want are already checked out. The product uses NoveList content to recommend other books that users might find interesting.NoveList Select recommendations are live links to a library's catalog with suggestions for new titles that users can check out immediately at their libraries. The product also elaborates on each recommendation so patrons can understand why a book would appeal to them. With NoveList Select, users of NoveList and NoveList Plus can scan similar and recommended books pulled from more than 4 million titles without leaving their libraries' catalogs. NoveList Select also adds links within catalog results to recommended reading lists, author read-alikes, book discussion guides, and other feature content. The product also offers links to a library's NextReads newsletters, as well as its newsletter sign-up page. NoveList Select is available for all major integrated library systems.
