EBSCO Online Content Increases with Recent Publisher Agreements

EBSCO Subscription Services (http://www.ebsco.com) has announced that seven leading publishers have recently signed agreements to allow electronic access of their publications through the EBSCO Online service. These publishers' journals cover a range of economic, humanities, scientific, medical, and technical subjects.

Well-known among the seven is The Wall Street Transcript (http://www.twst.com), which provides interviews with Wall Street professionals and corporate leaders. For more than 38 years, the question-and-answer format has allowed readers to understand and interpret the meaning of an analyst's or CEO's comments. According to the announcement, The Wall Street Transcript covers all the major market sectors and contains unique information that cannot be found anywhere else.

The other publishers are The Fairmont Press, Palgrave Publishers, Rapra Technology, The Pharmaceutical Press (the publications division of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain), The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), and Radcliffe Medical Press.

EBSCO Online is a Web-based service that provides multiple options for accessing electronic journal subscriptions. Researchers can use one interface to search across full text from multiple publishers, or link to e-journals from a library catalog or Web page via durable URLs. Full text from e-journals available through EBSCO Online is also accessible through links from many database providers, including EBSCOhost. An alerting service, pay-per-view article purchasing, and advanced usage reports are also available.
