EBSCO Gives Libraries Incentives to Step Toward Solar

EBSCO Information Services created a grant initiative (totaling $150,000) to help libraries adopt solar power. Part of EBSCO Solar, the grant will give one or more U.S. libraries the opportunity to fund solar installations that will reduce their utilities expenditures and, if permitted in their state, sell back electricity to the grid. Submissions are due by April 29, 2016. The winning library (or libraries) will be announced during the American Library Association’s (ALA) annual conference.

For more information, read the press release.
