EBSCO Discovery Service Adds Japanese Content
EBSCO Information Services and the Japan Medical Abstracts Society (JAMAS) reached an agreement to make bibliographic citations and abstracts from Ichu-Shi Web, Japan’s largest online medical literature database, searchable for mutual customers in EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS).JAMAS updates the content in Ichu-Shi Web, which includes bibliographic citations and abstracts for more than 2,500 Japanese biomedical journals and other publications now searchable in EDS. Ichu-Shi Web users comprise students in medical, dental, and nursing schools as well as individual scientists, healthcare professionals, and consumers. EDS has a range of publisher partners that use the service to increase visibility for their content, such as Elsevier, Springer Science+Business Media, and SAGE Publications. Content providers, including LexisNexis, JSTOR, and Credo, are also partnered with EDS. Source: EBSCO Information Services
