EBSCO A-to-Z Enhances Linking Capabilities from Popular Research Sites

EBSCO A-to-Z now offers an economical solution for libraries that want OpenURL link resolving capabilities but cannot afford a full-featured link resolver. Links can be easily integrated with sites like PubMed and Google Scholar so that users can link from the citation to gain access to the full-text article. If the needed article is in a subscribed EBSCOhost full-text database or within an ejournal subscribed to through EBSCO, the user is taken directly to the full text. For other titles, the user is presented with the A-to-Z title details list from which they can navigate to the appropriate full text. All of this is available at no additional charge to EBSCO A-to-Z customers.

While this new EBSCO A-to-Z feature is not a replacement for LinkSource, EBSCO’s full-featured OpenURL link resolver, it offers libraries that cannot afford a link resolver an economical way to enjoy some of the benefits.
