Digital Science and ISSI Team Up to Offer Free Data Access
Digital Science partnered with the International Society for Scientometrics and Informetrics (ISSI) to provide ISSI members with enhanced access to Dimensions and Altmetric data. Beginning on Oct. 1, 2019, ISSI members can apply for no-cost access to Dimensions’ and Altmetric’s web tools and APIs. Dimensions and Altmetric have existing no-cost data-sharing programs that are open to those doing noncommercial scientometrics research.“This partnership provides all of our members with access to high-quality data, enhances replicability and reproducibility within the field, and provides an extremely rich dataset for analyses,” says Cassidy Sugimoto, ISSI’s president.
