Digital Science Restarts the Scientometric Researcher Access to Data Program
Digital Science relaunched its Scientometric Researcher Access to Data (SRAD) program, which gives scientometrics researchers streamlined, no-cost access to Altmetric and Dimensions data as well as access to Dimensions on Google BigQuery (GBQ). SRAD is available to scientometrics researchers who are involved in noncommercial studies; it will help them more easily answer systemwide research questions about scholarly literature.“This program plays an important role in Digital Science’s commitment to open research and improving research,” says Kathryn Weber-Boer, who was appointed Digital Science’s director scientometrics—scientometric researcher engagement. “By expanding access to Dimensions on GBQ, we’re excited to enable scientometrics researchers to answer complex questions with big data, exploring and linking more datapoints, and connecting our world-leading Dimensions data to other open datasets.” For more information, read the blog post.
