Dialog Expands Dialog Choice Pricing Plan
Dialog, a Thomson business and provider of online information services and integrated information solutions (http://www.dialog.com), announced today (Sept. 27) that it has added databases of global intellectual property records and business information to its growing roster of content available through Dialog Choice, the company's fixed-fee enterprise subscription pricing plan introduced in February 2004 (see the NewsBreak at http://newsbreaks.infotoday.com/nbreader.asp?ArticleID=16518). More than 120 databases, provided by 62 information providers, are now available through the Dialog Choice plan (at launch it offered 70 databases from 40 providers). Dialog is continuing to work with its thousands of information providers to make additional content available through the plan.New content sources recently made available for site licensing include 10 files offered by ProQuest Information and Learning, such as ABI/INFORM and Business Dateline. Business information files recently added to the Dialog Choice program include company data published in the American Business Directory and the Canadian Business Directory. The expanding Dialog Choice program comes as many corporations, government agencies, and other organizations are harnessing new technologies to implement enterprisewide information solutions.
