DataSalon MasterVision Helps AMA Connect With Customers
The American Medical Association (AMA) adopted DataSalon's MasterVision product and data from the JAMA & Archives online alerting and Continuing Medical Education services into a single master record for each customer. MasterVision lets the AMA condense records for members, journal subscribers, and pay-per-view purchasers. These records help the AMA's sales and marketing teams analyze and segment different customer groups, while improving the relevance of customer communications and letting the organization create targeted cross/up-selling campaigns based on customers' interests. MasterVision also includes a feed of third-party reference data from Ringgold that helps AMA staff members understand their institutional, library, and consortia customers. MasterVision features an interface to search, analyze, and export customer data; visual reports such as pie charts, bar charts, cross tabs, and maps; and management dashboards that combine charts and tables into a single view for one-click access to statistics and trends.
