Data Workshop Posts Agenda
Data Infrastructure: The Importance of Quality and Integrity, a workshop co-sponsored by the National Federation of Advanced Information Services (NFAIS) and CENDI to be held Nov. 20, 2014, now has a preliminary agenda. Online registration is open to anyone who creates, manages, or uses scientific data, and discussions will center on the technical, financial, political, social, and cultural influences to consider when assessing data’s quality and integrity.NFAIS (of which Information Today, Inc. is a proud member) and CENDI (which serves the federal information community) announced that Marcia McNutt, the editor-in-chief of Science magazine, will be the workshop’s keynote speaker. The National Technical Information Service (NTIS) will host the event at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Source: CENDI
