DCL Unveils Content Crystallizer for Transforming Word Documents Into XML

Data Conversion Laboratory (DCL) introduced Content Crystallizer, which “styles, edits, and transforms manuscripts in Word format into high-quality XML through an automated, streamlined, three-step process,” offering “a configurable production-ready solution that is tailorable to a publisher's or journal's specific editorial style and requirements. From styling and reference formatting to XML output and quality control validation, the system adapts to diverse editorial and production needs.”

“We recognized the need for a scalable, automated XML workflow with provision for editorial control,” says Mark Gross, DCL’s president, explaining that “Content Crystallizer fuses seamless manuscript preparation with our industry-leading conversion engine, allowing editors to apply custom overrides while automatically delivering impeccably formatted Word and XML files at scale.”
