Critical Mention Adds Local TV Channels

Critical Mention, Inc. (http://www.criticalmention.com), a Web-based television news search and monitoring service, announced the addition of 38 new television channels in its network of searchable television news. With the addition of seven new local broadcast markets—Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and the Florida cities Tampa, Orlando, Miami, and West Palm Beach—Critical Mention now provides 120 channels of video culled from the Top 25 U.S. Markets, national networks, and cable stations in real-time, full-motion searchable video.

Critical Mention's searchable database now consists of more than 475 television channels, where subscribers can search, read, play, and share video clips through Critical Mention's online platform, CriticalTV. The CriticalTV platform provides real-time monitoring and e-mail alerts for organizations that require up-to-the-minute news about their company, clients, and competitors. Critical Mention provides clients with the ability to search more than 3 million clips and more than 10 terabytes of indexed television information, watch a clip within seconds of airing, and securely share clips with colleagues and clients.

Critical Mention currently serves more than 450 clients, including Fortune 500 companies and market leaders in corporate communications, financial services, professional services, nonprofit, and government industries.
