Congressional Chemistry Caucus Spreads Awareness of Chemistry's Benefits

Rep. John Moolenaar (R-Mich.), Rep. Dan Lipinski (D-Ill.), Thomas Connelly Jr. (executive director and CEO of the American Chemical Society), Calvin M. Dooley (CEO of the American Chemistry Council), and Eric R. Byer (president of the National Association of Chemical Distributors) created the Congressional Chemistry Caucus, which will have a launch event on April 27, 2016.

“The caucus will help inform members of Congress, their staffs and the public about chemistry’s benefits for society and the economy,” the press release states. Moolenaar and Lipinski will serve as the caucus’ co-chairs.
