Clarivate Publishes the 'Pulse of the Library 2026' Report on Responses to Tech Changes
Clarivate rolled out the “Pulse of the Library 2026” report. The report, now in its third year, “examines how libraries are responding to technological change, including AI, shifting priorities and growing demands on staff and resources.” Findings include the following:- In Mainland China, 28% of respondents have moderate to active AI implementation. Globally, 16% do.
- 51% of libraries actively implementing AI operate under joint library and IT governance.
- 58% of respondents say staff productivity is their primary goal when exploring AI.
