Cisco and Microsoft Work on Cloud Computing
Cisco extended its relationship with Microsoft for a new technology platform designed to accelerate service delivery and streamline entry into the Intercloud (a globally connected network of clouds) for cloud providers. Cisco Cloud Architecture for the Microsoft Cloud Platform is an integrated solution that helps these providers rapidly deliver cloud services with simplified operations and reduced costs.Fourteen cloud providers agreed to join Cisco’s existing Intercloud partner ecosystem, which is designed for high-value application workloads, real-time analytics, scalability, and local law compliance.
