Cisco Plans to Acquire Cybersecurity Company
Cisco intends to acquire Portcullis, a private consultancy in the U.K. It offers cybersecurity services to enterprises and government clients, including assessments for identifying vulnerabilities, forensic testing, first-responder training, policy review, and security awareness training. The acquisition will increase Cisco’s ability to offer security, risk, and compliance services; it will also help expand the company’s services outside of North America. The companies aim to complete the agreement by 2Q FY2016.For more information, read the blog post.
