Cisco Extends IT-Focused Academic Program in Mexico

Cisco renewed its partnership with the University of Guadalajara under the Cisco Networking Academy program and agreed to expand the program in the university’s schools. Nine self-sustaining academies will be added to the existing four in 10 university centers and three technical high schools.

Cisco also agreed to donate laboratory equipment for 13 academies to support hands-on learning. More than 3,000 students will get technical training in preparation for information-driven and IT jobs.
