Census Bureau Unveils Data From the Latest Annual Integrated Economic Survey
The U.S. Census Bureau has just published historical time series data as part of the “2024 Annual Integrated Economic Survey.” The press release states, “The historical time series provide users with consistent measures of business activity that can be used to examine trends over time across various industries and geographies. These data are available through the Census Bureau’s API, allowing users to access and incorporate data into their own analyses and applications.”The survey covers domestic, private sector, and nonfarm businesses with paid employees that were in operation for at least part of 2024; were located in one of the 50 U.S. states or Washington, D.C.; and were classified by one of the 19 sectors the North American Industry Classification System defined as in-scope.
