CSA Introduces RefWorks
RefWorks, a new Web-based bibliographic management tool, is now available from CSA (http://www.csa.com). According to the announcement, RefWorks makes it simple and fast for users to create a personal, searchable online database of references. These references can be easily imported into RefWorks from a variety of platforms and sources. The RefWorks program can then be used to format a manuscript and create a bibliography instantly. The service allows researchers at institutions to compile and disseminate research data in a consistent manner, institutionwide.RefWorks is compatible with nearly all major online services, including CAS SciFinder, OCLC FirstSearch, CDL (California Digital Library), Ovid, CSA, ProQuest, EBSCOhost, SilverPlatter WebSPIRS, ISI, NLM PubMed, and, coming soon, the Institute of Physics. Additionally, RefWorks users can import and export references from a number of other commercial bibliographic software products. Pricing models are available that offer unlimited sitewide or department-wide access. CSA is offering interested institutions complimentary trial access to RefWorks. Contact CSA at sales@csa.com or visit the CSA RefWorks Web site (http://www.csa.com/refworks). Source: CSA
