COMTEX News Network Launches Real-Time News Operation in Europe
COMTEX News Network, Inc. has announced that its new subsidiary, the Madrid, Spain-based nFactoryCOMTEX, S.L., will offer real-time news products to the European reseller and corporate markets. COMTEX also announced that it has acquired selected senior management and assets from nFactory."We believe the European markets represent a significant opportunity to provide real-time news products customized to meet the needs of major portals, wireless service operators, equity trading and information sites, and corporate intranets," said Charles W. Terry, COMTEX president and CEO. "The combination of COMTEX's real-time news products and nFactory's solid reputation in the European markets provides a strong foundation from which to expand our international distribution." nFactoryCOMTEX has started operations in Madrid under the direction of Federico Fernandez de Santos Ortiz, who has been named general manager of European operations. Santos, the former general manager of nFactory, will oversee the introduction of COMTEX products into the European markets.
