COMTEX Launches Toolkit for News Solutions Product Line
COMTEX News Network, Inc. (http://www.comtexnews.net) has launched NewsDesk, an editor's toolkit application available as part of the News Solutions product line. NewsDesk is an application created to enhance the customer's ability to perform specialized filtering, targeting, customization, and delivery of content. According to the announcement, NewsDesk puts the controls in the hands of the COMTEX customer.The NewsDesk application offers News Solutions users the following enhanced options: - An "E-mail this story" hyperlink
- The ability to rank the appearance of stories in order of relevance to them
- The ability to select specific stories to be displayed
- A way to choose the location within the Web site where both headlines and new stories will be displayed
