CIGI Survey Looks at Online Security and Privacy
The Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) released the results of its latest study, “2016 CIGI-Ipsos Global Survey on Internet Security and Trust.” It features respondents from 24 countries, 83% of whom are calling for new rules for how companies, governments, and others use personal data. Most respondents (85%) want their government to work with other governments and organizations to make the internet safer and more secure. Only 38% of respondents trust that their internet activities are not being monitored.For more information, read the press release.
