Blackboard Buys Campus Retail Company
Blackboard acquired Sequoia Retail Systems, Inc., a provider of point-of-sale (POS), retail bookstore, and inventory management solutions for educational institutions, to complement its Blackboard Transact suite of transaction, security, and financial solutions. Students can use their campus ID cards to purchase items online, on mobile, or at a physical location on campus.
