Blackboard Adopts Analytics-Focused Technology for Its Applications
Blackboard acquired X-Ray Analytics, a research-based, predictive analytics technology for the education community. It will be integrated first into Blackboard’s Moodlerooms and Enterprise Moodle, then expand to other Blackboard applications and analytics solutions.The cloud-based X-Ray Analytics offers visualizations of past behaviors and performances in courses, across courses, and at institutional levels. It also predicts future behaviors and outcomes—and identifies potential risk areas—to help instructors tailor their lessons to provide the greatest level of support.
