Biometrics Companies Join Forces
Precise Biometrics entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of NexID Biometrics for 32 million Swedish kronor (about $3.5 million) in cash. This purchase will enable Precise Biometrics to include NexID Biometrics’ liveness detection software in its fingerprint software products, address customer demand for fraud mitigation, and grow its fingerprint technology business.For more information, read the press release.
