BiblioCommons Partners With Level Access to Overhaul Its Accessibility Approaches

BiblioCommons entered into a 3-year partnership with Level Access, a provider of digital accessibility solutions and services. “The partnership brings independent evaluation, expert guidance, and validation to help BiblioCommons continue advancing accessibility across its products,” the press release states. “Through the partnership, BiblioCommons is adding a structured program of independent audits, remediation, and ongoing evaluation to its existing accessibility practices.”

After Level Access conducts a comprehensive accessibility audit across BiblioCommons’ platform, BiblioCommons will publish a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) and a product accessibility road map to outline its remediation work and timelines. This process will repeat annually throughout the 3-year partnership.

For more information, read the press release.‍
