Baker & Taylor Works to Improve Discoverability of Classroom Content
Baker & Taylor teamed up with Unbound Concepts to help teachers, librarians, and curriculum buyers find appropriate content for their students. The company will integrate Unbound Concepts’ Artifact Access product into its platforms so that publishers’ K–12 content can leverage Artifact Access’ taxonomy. Artifact Access goes beyond traditional metadata (subject, author, and publisher, etc.) to allow searching by additional information such as topics, themes, educational characteristics, literary elements, and teaching standards. For more information, read the press release.
